Scholarship System

The university has a scholarship system and fee reduction/redemption system as follows.

(1) Scholarship System (involves selection)

  • Special scholarship for new international student-entrants to Bukkyo University
    (6 months from the autumn semester)

    • 48,000 yen per month for undergraduates and graduate school students

  • Special scholarship for international students of Bukkyo University
    (1 year)

    • 48,000 yen per month for undergraduates and graduate school students

  • Lump-sum scholarship for privately financed international students of Bukkyo University
    (once a year)

    • 200,000 yen for undergraduates and graduate school students

(2) Tuition reduction/redemption

  • Tuition reduction/redemption for international students of Bukkyo University
    (only within the minimum period for completion of studies)

    • 30% of the annual tuition fees for the admission year in the autumn term

  • Tuition reduction/redemption for international students recommended by a university in academic exchange agreement with Bukkyo University
    (only within the minimum period for completion of studies)

    • 50% of the annual tuition fees for the admission year in the autumn term
